GUIDED VISIT AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY FOR GROUPS
Death is always a thorny subject. It is difficult to open up a discussion about death, but often it needs to be done. Visitors will tour the exhibition, learning about our representations of death, remembrances and rituals.
The projects in the exhibition deal with the life-cycles of living beings and people, with finitude and loss, and some even touch upon how we dispose of our possessions. Talking about death has afforded students a cultural encounter, turning arts into a game, a reflection, and a debate on how death is viewed from the various perspectives of those cultures which form part of the school.
Naming death allows us to love life, to take care of it, and to enjoy it to the fullest.
ACVIC's exhibitions aim to familiarise visitors with art in order to enrich their cultural background encouraging them to adopt a critical perspective.
RELATED ACTIVITY
What will the afterlife be like?
The visit will end at the Miniespai, a space full of ideas for playing with art. During the exhibition, the Miniespai will host the most ludic school projects. Visitors may participate in them, leaving their mark on the exhibition. What do we think happens when we die? Will we go somewhere? What might this place be like?
