This new exhibition by Jordi Marcet (1949) and Rosa Vila-Abadal (1950) is an excellent sampling of their careers, which have been remarkable for their sobriety and their elegance, and their focus upon experimentation and rigorous, meticulous work.

It's been 10 years since ACVIC Centre d’Arts Contemporànies and the Centre de Recursos Pedagògics d'Osona planted the seed of Art and School, a programme aiming to promote the presence of contemporary art in schools, establishing a network of collaborations between various institutions and people who work in the fields of art and education.

We recommend that Secondary Education teachers who wish to visit the exhibition contact the ACVIC team beforehand in order to find out more about the exhibition’s content in advance.

IMPORTANT! Due to the present situation, coming into the current school year, we offer the choice of participating in any of the following activities either at ACVIC or at school.
An ACVIC educator will come to schools which apply, in order to do the requested activity in the classroom.

As part of the Art and School programme, and following up on the educational ART + SCHOOL +LIGHT suitcase, ACVic Centre d’Arts Contemporànies bring online the ART + SCHOOL + VOID suitcase, another element in the promotion of art in schools, and the encouragement of collaboration between the different agencies and parties involved in art and education.
