Coinciding with the neo-liberal offensive of the late 1970s, the processes of media concentration placed the main media groups in the hands of the financial world and large business complexes, including the industrial-military. Eyewitness photography that testified to the significant socio-political reality suffered attack from all angles; the lack of plurality, implicit censorship, the devaluation of its works by aesthetic thinkers, restrictive legislation, and the economic and symbolic undervaluing of photo-journalistic production; all these conditions have brought us to a point that, with the help of the audience, we will attempt to describe.
