The Generalitat de Catalunya’s Department of Culture, and the Consell Nacional de la Cultura i de les Arts (CoNCA), together with ACVIC and the Casino de Vic, invite you to the presentation of the Census of Catalonian Artists.
An activity which forms part of ACVIC’s tenth anniversary celebrations, with performances and contributions from Carla-Laura Marsal, music and dance; Godai Garcia, monologue; Jaume Coll and Núria Armengol, poetry; and the premiere of the video Entre cor i branca, by Toni Casassas.
The Generalitat de Catalunya’s Department of Culture, and the Consell Nacional de la Cultura i de les Arts (CoNCA), together with professional associations in the cultural sector, are launching a campaign to promote the Census of Catalonian Artists, with the aim of encouraging registration among cultural creators who live and work in Catalonia.
The Census of Catalonian Artists was launched in December 2020, fulfilling a mandate long demanded by professional associations in a variety of creative fields, such as music, the performing arts, literature, the visual arts, design, illustration, audiovisual media and cinema, and video games. It has become a pioneering tool, serving to map artistic creation within the country, and to facilitate the subsequent development of the Artist's Charter, through exhaustive diagnosis and evaluation, from which strategies, protocols and specific actions may be determined, in order to improve the professional conditions of cultural artists and professionals, and the public policies aimed at the cultural sector.
