FROM A SOAP BOTTLE TO A CHRISTMAS TREE ORNAMENT
Plastic recycling workshop
An activity for families
Sunday, November 29th, 2020
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - FULL CAPACITY
At ACVIC Centre d’Arts Contemporànies
This activity forms part of the VA DE PLÀSTICS project organised by the Osona Red Cross, Vic City Council and ACVic.
As part of the Dia Internacional de les Ciutats Educadora (International Day of the Educating Cities). #EdCities30anys
What journey does a soap bottle take, from when it has been manufactured until it breaks down? Where does it end up when the soap runs out and we throw it away?
How can we turn a bottle of fabric softener into a Christmas hanging decoration?
Want to help prepare the Christmas decorations for a city space? We are launching new machines for the recycling of plastics! Machines for grinding, melting and reshaping disposable plastics.
You’ll see how these machines work, as well as the ways contemporary art may help create awareness of the environment, and together we’ll build decorative elements for a city space.
For responsible consumption, let’s have a sensible and creative Christmas!
WHO IS IT AIMED AT?
A family activity, for adults, and children over 5 years of age
