ART IN MOTION
A workshop for children from 6 to 10 years of age
Tuesday the 1st, Wednesday the 2nd, Thursday the 3rd and Friday the 4th, September 2015
From 10 am until 1.15 pm at ACVic Centre d’Arts Contemporànies (Sant Francesc, 1 Vic).
WHO IS IT AIMED AT?
Children eager to experiment, playfully, with the creative possibilities of art.
PRICE
30€ (or 24€ for Friends of ACVic and members of H. Associació per a les Arts Contemporànies).
Registration will end on Saturday 25th July.
The number of places available for the workshops is limited, and reservations will be decided according to order of payment in case of oversubscription.
INTRODUCTION
We're surrounded by objects in motion. Cars, birds, trees, the wind, even ourselves, are always in motion. So how can we express their movements, and movement in general?
We'll find out different ways of representing movement, in a journey through visual arts, dance, theatre, music, photography, cinema, and many other arts. Will you join in with us?
PROGRAM
First session, Tuesday 1st September – from observation, to visual arts.
Second session, Wednesday 2nd September – from visual arts, to physical expression.
Third session, Thursday 3rd September – from physical expression, to sonic art.
Fourth session, Friday 4th September – from sonic art, to cinema.
REQUIREMENTS
Old clothes which you don't mind getting dirty are an absolute must, and it is also recommended that children bring a mid-morning snack.

Bruna Dinarès and Elisabet Wenceslao, members of the ACVic teaching staff, with Assumpta Cirera-Tuti as assessor.
